The Company was established in 1962 under the name of Poly Pools with the view to developing flexible membrane linings for use in swimming pools, dams, reservoirs and tanks.

The 100% South African company has tested and pioneered all types of South African manufactured flexible lining plastic and rubber which has resulted in Optimum Linings being selected as the most suitable material for use under the arduous South African Conditions.

The materials are ideally suited for waterproofing and have the best combination of tensile strength, tear and rip resistance, dimensional stability and the characteristics to ensure permanent jointing procedures in the factory and on site, and for repair work over the service life of the lining.

With the experience of 40 000 Poly Lined swimming pools and 4000 industrial projects over a 43 year period to back up the guarantee your “P.A.L.” Lining project is bound to be successful.
