Inserting
the pre-molded step
Once
the hole has been dug and the swimming
pool shape attained it is time to build
the swimming pool walls and place
the pre-molded pool step in place. Secure
well so that the brick wall can be neatly constructed
around it.

Building
the brick retaining wall
Bricks
and mortar are used for the wall but one needn't
use expensive bricks as the liner
will cover the surfaces. Build and shape, any
size. Plaster the wall after the bricks are laid. |
 |
Preparing
the sand floor
Once
the walls have been built and plastered one
can lay the pool floor. It is a simple process
of laying down plaster sand and compacting
it with a garden roller. Make sure that all
corners are
well rounded as this provides a smooth surface
for swimming pool cleaners and improves the
appearance of the pool.

Installing
the vinyl swimming pool liner
The
liner is tailor made to suite the shape and
size of your pool. The liner is rolled out
on the floor of the pool and pulled over the
walls.
|
 |
Securing
the edges
After
hanging the liner and using small
sandbags to keep the liner in place we need to
secure
the
pool liner to
the edges of the pool. It is a relatively simple
process and
is covered in more detail in the DIY Kit.
